Managing the dining areas in all levels of care (Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing), this professional must demonstrate/possess:

• A broad spectrum of culinary service management skills

• Technical knowledge of both front and back of the house operations

• The ability to create and manage a multi-million-dollar budget

• A sensitivity to the unique needs of an elderly population

• A problem-solving attitude that is cooperative and open to new ideas

• An approachable demeanor that invites feedback from both employees and residents

• Prioritizing staff development and employee retention

• Four to six years experience in a similar role

• A natural sense of calm, consistent, and steady leadership
