Changing Spaces: New Models of Long-Term Caring
Conference Overview:
"Efforts to learn how technology can improve the way we deliver long-term care services are critical given the demographic challenges we will face as a nation over the next 40 years."
Scholars, providers, policy -makers and others with interests in both residential and community long-term care settings met on October 20 and 21, 2005 for the Scripps Gerontology Center's 6th Long-Term Care Conference to explore the intersection of environment, technology and culture change in long-term care.
This conference was organized in partnership with the Society For The Advancement Of Gerontological Environments (SAGE).
